Kyoto’s scenery has always evoked a sense of nostalgia in those who visit.
Old Kyoto captures one such everyday scene and reimagines it as a glimpse of the ancient Kyoto that may once have existed there.
An antique frame was also used to give the entire work a nostalgic atmosphere.
This piece is an expression of my deep affection for Kyoto―capturing the timelessness that flows through the ancient capital.
