Yasuo Kiyonaga photo exhibition「Flower Spirit」will be held at Kyoto Museum of photography Gallery Japanesque From 17 February to 12 April,2026.

So far, I have explored the presence that dwells deep within nature through my lens.
In this work, I sought to capture the moment when eternity meets the present.

The collage, created by cutting out countless flowers and layering them, becomes an accumulation of beauty frozen in time.
On top of this vivid garden, I placed a single rose. Photographs preserve the past, while a fresh flower exists fully in the present, only to wither eventually.

A still image and a living bloom.
When they come together, a new life emerges.
Beauty that doesn’t fade and life that changes.
I want to share with viewers the radiant breath of life that arises from this union.
